Cute vintage Madame Alexander 14 inch Composition Doll

This darling baby doll is likely one of the five Dionne Quintuplets. She
is dressed in a pink one piece outfit, therefore her name may be
Yvonne. She was made by the Alexander Doll Company in the late 1930s to
early 1940s. She is all composition, has a swivel head, fully jointed toddler body, molded hair and blinking sleep eyes. She’s very sweet and in good condition. Her
face paint is bright although there is a touch of paint missing off her
upper lip and her left eyebrow is slightly faded. There are also a few
small hair-line cracks around her eyes. She has hazel spatter sleep
eyes that work well. Her hair is molded with a cute curl in the front.
She may at one time have had a wig or a bonnet. She does have a few
small cracks on the top back of her hair, but they are not major. Her
body is clean and her joints are tight, she can stand on her own. The
top of the leg joints have a little wear on the paint at the hips. The
fingers are in good condition. There is a little paint missing on the
finger nails of the first finger and pinky of her left hand. Her feet
are in very good condition with only a few superficial rub marks. The
one piece pajama outfit she is wearing is made of soft flannel; it’s
pink and white checkered, ties in the back and is very clean. I do not
believe that it is original, since it is a bit loose on her.Measures 14 inches tall and is marked “ALEXANDER” on the back of her head and upper back.
