for a 40 year old comic. The front and back covers have some light

fifth page in the book that reads “Part I” has a corner torn off and

The binding is tight, the pages are properly yellowed for their age and are free of folds or marks.

This is a very handsome vintage copy of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, dated 1939.
took very special care of this book. It has a dark brown hard cover,
with light blue, maroon red and gold gilt lettering on the spine. There
is very little shelf wear on the edges. It has one very minor scratch
on the back cover.
None of the 619 pages are torn, worn, folded or
creased. The pages have only slightly yellowed from age. The binding is
very strong. Possible only read once, if at all.
The very first
page of the book is marked with the previous owners name in black
marker. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this
